As you can see on your screen, we have a variety of actions we can take within this profile. Let’s dive into what we can do!
Sending a One-off Email
To send an email to a specific contact, you will need to be in the contact’s profile page. Once there, you will click on the drop-down and select the email you want to send from the email templates that you have in your system and click “Send Email”.
Sending an SMS to a Contact
To send SMS messages you can either click the “Send SMS Messages” button and it will take you to the “Text Message Logs” tab where you can send messages from there.
Or, as mentioned in the Navigating Contact Profiles guide, you can also go to the Text Message Logs to access the SMS feature.
Adding a Contact to a Marketing Journey
To add a contact to a Marketing Journey, you will click the “+ Add to Marketing Journey” button. This will give you a selection of all the active marketing journeys that you have available. You will then select the desired Marking Journey and click on the “+Add” button to add them to the journey.
Delete a Contact
To delete a contact you will go to the additional drop-down next to the “Edit Lead” button and click “Delete Lead.”
Note: Once you delete a lead, you cannot recover them.
Adding to a Do Not Contact List (Email/SMS)
You can manage contacts if they choose to be on a “Do Not Contact” list and manage whether they should be on an email “Do Not Contact” list and/or an SMS“Do Not Contact” list.
Any of the emails that you send through RocketLevel that are templated are going to include a link to unsubscribe. Once the contact unsubscribes, they will automatically be added to a “Do Not Contact” list.
Say you have someone who called in and said “I don't want to receive emails anymore.” What you will do is add them to a “Do Not Contact” list. In their profile, click the 3-dot button next to Edit Lead, select “Manage Do Not Contact List,” and select either email or text and click “Save.” Now when you go back to the contact, you'll be able to see “Do Not Contact” and the type of do-not-contact lists that they are on.
Removing From Do Not Contact List (Email/SMS)
If your contact chooses to receive emails/text again, you can remove them from the “Do Not Contact” list. To do so, go to their profile and click the pencil icon. This will open a new window. Delete the “Type” of list you want to remove them from such as email or text by clicking the red “Delete” button. This will enable them to receive emails/text once again.
